7 for 1

That’s right burn 7 calories per minute and lose 3 to 6 inches in 4 weeks with only 3 days a week hooping.
I am so excited. I love my LED hula hoop. Not only is it fun but great exercise. I can’t wait to find out how the rabbits and quail react to the lights.

Here it is out of the package. It needs to open itself.

Opened and lights on. They change colors and make designs in space. It is also a little heavier than the one from the dollar store so I can hula hoop now for 10 minutes straight!
Lovin my LED hoop.

Eating Crackers at Midnight

Head spinning out of control
Thoughts of then and past times
Words said, not said, the too many times I spoke my mind.
Ahh, first love, Bill King, never kissed never forgotten. Wonder were he is now or if I cross his mind at midnight.
Places I have been, the many countries I’ve lived in, languages spoken and forgotten.
The amazing speed the tiny cotton tail crosses the property in. Will another rattler sneek up on me?
Is it really possible to lose 10 pounds in 3 days?
Anxiously waiting for 8 am when the post office opens and I can retrieve my led mood hula hoop.
If only I had electricity so I can work on my sculpture. Listening to old movies on you tube.
Trying not to scratch the kissing bug bites and wish they never existed.
I wonder if my past houses still stand and what is the meaning of home?
Should I dye my hair purple?
It is midnight, I’m eating crackers wondering if I’ll ever fall asleep.

Topless

Topless Muffins

image

I baked some all bran muffins for a get together today but didn’t factor in the high altitude so the tops burnt.  Not good. I scrapped a bit, nah, cut off the top,  toppless! I am not in Vegas any more. No humor  (like that) here.
So there is only one thing to do
Crumble them up, add blueberries and whipped cream and freeze.

There go all my pretty cupcake holders, sigh.

My healthy all bran muffins no sugar added are now dessert. I did lick the spoon and they rank:  YUMMY!

Coeur Rage

“But in the end one needs more courage to live than to kill himself.”
― Albert Camus

I saw this on a blog, Alexander, under his list of quotes from male philosophers. Please check him out.

It reminded me of when I worked with gang members and incarcerated violent offenders. ” I die for my vario, I die for my family!” I never heard one say I will live for. So I would challenge them and ask,” what are you willing to live for. It is easy to die, but to face something, to stand up and fight for what you truly believe in or love that takes courage.
As I define courage, Coeur rage, it takes the rage of the heart to live a life of integrity and truth, joy and wonder, so I ask you where does your heart rage? What do you have the Coeur rage to live for?

Sunsets

Sun sets on another day.  Worked hard on my sculpture, moved over to the yurt fixing some foundation issues caused by monsoons, smashed my finger on a 3 ton jack, back to wood carving, dinner and a short rest outside. Two rabbits racing about the yard. Time to work out with the hula hoop.

Emergence

A sculpture I have been working on. No power tools, hand carved and sanded. It is not completed and I am open to suggestions.

Emergence is about family emerging from a strong root base.
